A while back I shared my idea of hosting a "Bridesmaids Drunk Brunch" where I rounded up all my favorite girls to ask them to be a part of my wedding day. We went to one of New Orleans' favorite local brunch spots and had a blast! We drank bottomless mimosas and each girl was gifted a box full of goodies! Proposal boxes have recently become a hit with bridesmaids which has encouraged brides to do them more and more. While "proposal boxes" or other "bridesmaid gifts" are not required, it was something I really enjoyed doing. Take a moment to think, these girls will be putting in tons of money, time, and effort to make sure your wedding is absolutely amazing along with every other event leading up to the big day! For me, it was a no-brainer. I immediately started picking out items for their boxes! Get my box!1. Floral box with pink paper stuffing
My boxes were from Hobby Lobby and I was able to glue a customizable label that said "I can't say I do without you! Will you be my Bridesmaid?" that I had found online. You can purchase labels off of Etsy or even create your own on Word for free! 2. Custom Stemless Wine Glass I ordered my wine glasses from My Personal Memories which can be found on Amazon. Each glass said the girl's name and their title for the wedding (aka Bridesmaid or Maid of Honor). I plan on using these for mimosas while we get ready for the wedding! 3. Bridesmaid t-shirt I had seen tons of "I Do Crew" or other bridesmaid t-shirts and I HAD to have them. Each girl received a black "Bridesmaid" t-shirt that I ordered from EverlyGrayce on Etsy! The flowy t-shirt was soft and looked fabulous on everyone when we were out and about on the bach trip! 4. Koozie New Orleans is known for beignets, Mardi Gras, and Bourbon Street. The majority of us being NOLA girls means we know how to have a party! I ordered pink "Team Bride" koozies for us to take on our bachelorette party or to even have for the wedding reception itself! 5. Mini Wine Bottle To go with the koozies, I bought a couple of 4-pack mini wine bottles from Walmart for less than ten dollars. You can even purchase custom wine labels off of Amazon or Etsy. It was a perfect way to toast to my new bridal party! 6. Ring Dish Since I got my ring, it was only fitting that my girls got a ring (dish) too! You can find them basically anywhere but I looked mainly at Hobby Lobby, Target, or other boutiques in the mall. I chose small ring dishes from Hobby Lobby that they could use to hold there favorite jewelry pieces! 7. Cake Pops To top it all off, I threw in some of my favorite cake pops from Sugar & Spice Twice! The cake pops were wedding cake flavored and decorated with diamond rings.
