Dear Bride, I can't imagine all the emotions you must be feeling during this quarantine... upset, angry, lost because you feel like all of your hard work has gone to waste or even ruined. The amount of stress that you might be under due to the relentless questions from family, friends, and even vendors. What I do know is, you can do this and your wedding will be AMAZING no matter what! Make a PlanBut where do you start? Well let's start with options aka Plan B, C, or even D! Being prepared and having options is the only way you are going to get through this tough time.
Reach out to VendorsNo matter what plan you pick, make sure you are communicating with your vendors. We are moving through uncharted territory, which is forcing us to be flexible (the wedding world included). Unfortunately, you might be starting from square one to make sure all of the pieces fit if you choose another day or even might have to pick other vendors if they don't. On the other hand, several vendors are offering free mini cakes or even photography if you choose a small wedding now and continue to use them for the big day! So reach out to your vendors to see what they can do for you! Give your guests a Heads Up!Now that you have a new plan for the wedding and coordinated with the vendors, you need to let your guests know ASAP. I'm sure you have had endless phone calls and texts from your guests asking if the wedding is cancelled, postponed, or still on as planned. I would opt for a "Change the Date" card or a "Change of Plans" card which gives them all the information they need to know. A tons of sites such as Simply to Impress, Magnet Street, and Minted are offering these for 25-75% off! At the end of the day, I am so proud of you and you are a total ROCK STAR! You are forced to adapt to this crazy pandemic and are still able to pull off the day of your dreams. You aren't facing this alone and the ultimate goal is for safety of you and all your loved ones. There is so much love and support for you during this time. COVID19 will not bully you because love can't be cancelled! P.S. I'm out here on the front lines fighting for you! Stay safe! xoxo,
