With the new year, I have invested in several resolutions to create a better, happier version of myself. One in particular would be to travel (within current COVID restrictions of course). I had the opportunity to go to Houston this weekend to visit with a couple of my girlfriends! It was a quick weekend trip filled with a ton of Houston's finest! We stayed in the The Woodlands Waterway Marriott which is a little outside of the city but has the prettiest view! Our trip was packed with plenty of delicious food options, such as Local Pour and Lupes. However, Sixty Vine was by far my favorite lunch spot. If you go, definitely try the charcuterie board and cauliflower appetizer! There is so much to explore, yet so little time. They say "everything is bigger in Texas," and when it comes to shopping, they mean it. Be sure to check out the Galleria and Market Street for both name brand stores and local boutiques! Additionally, we just so happened to catch the last weekend the Zoo was featuring their Christmas light display. However, if you could only do one thing, the Color Factory is a MUST! The Color Factory tickets are around $40 and features several unique art exhibits that are perfect for photos! They offer a photo token which allows you to have photos taken at each spot and immediately sent to your email at the end of the tour. Additionally, each room offers some little snacks such as a macaroon, popcorn, or even coconut ice cream included in the cost! P.S. Just stop at any Buc-ee's you happen to see and thank me later! xoxo,
